Problems with HD Advance

I just bought HD Advance. I can't get NCAA Football 2005 to work with it though. I convert it just fine, but then when I load it I just get a black screen. Somebody please help.

did you enable the right mode(s)?

Where does it say anything about modes? Can't find it.
