OK i got a psp ad i got games and stuff.But i want to downlode stuff from the computer i got the usb cord.But i don't know if i need some time of progrma or somthing.I connected my psp to my pc and well i downlofed a file.But when i looked at my psp i was missing memorie and there was no file.I need sombody to guide me step by step plezzzzzzzzz.thank you! ~roxy~

You can't just download any file and throw it on the PSP and expect it to work.

What kind of file did you try to put on your PSP?

Yip. You cant just per say download a file to your PSP just like that. Before you destroy your PSP and waste your invested $$ I recommend researching firts. Pretty much all video games sites have "how to" for the PSP evr since the original launch date. By experience the easiest files to transfer from PC to your PSP is MP3's and Pics. Videos require a convertion sofware that cane be downloaded here on afterdawn. Also when downloading make sure you have space in your memory stick.

dont upgrade your firmware becuase with 1.00 you can do a ton of cool stuff. go to www.psp-hacks.com and go to the downloads to see.

No i know exaclty what the problem is, if you are trying to upload photos, or music to your psp, you have to create a folder inside the folder "PSP" and name it "PHOTO" or "MUSIC" and depening on that you add the file to the specific folder.

Just format your ms with psp and it will create necessary folders (except the one where you put your videofiles).
