Nero Recode 2 and AOpen 1648

PC locking up using Nero Recode 2 latest version and my AOpen 1648 AAP/Pro latest firmware. Using other software like DVDS, DVDD, Plextools the drive is perfect and Nero Recode doesn't lock up pc when used with my PX 716's.

I have uninstalled drive and rebooted and still have problem, does anyone know of a known compatibility issue with this software and this drive? I use Nero express and rom with this drive to read and it works fine, it's only with Recode it locks system, nothing running in the background.

As Recode was just released we haven't had issues with it as of yet -

Please post a log so that we can see what's happing -

Also, tell us the following:

DVD size ?

DVD write Speed ?

Media you're writting to:

BTW, we wouldn't expect any problem with Burning ROM OR Exppress as they are in a different download package.

Just writing to HDD, can't post log as pc will lock up once this drive is selected with Nero Recode 2 to rip video_ts folder. I am just trying to encode a dvd that is 7 GB. I have no probs with the software when using my PX716. I have had my AOpen for about 5 months and never an issue with any software until i just got Nero Recode, still works fine using Nero burning rom or Nero express.

Please clarify -

First: Which function are you running in Recode ?

Does it lock up in every function ?

I.e., Using Remake a DVD for example, does it "lock up when acquiring the VIDEO_TS folder / Files (during analysis ?)

During encoding PRIOR to burning ?

AFTER encoding, prior to burning ?

During The burning process ?
