hey..anyone know a good and effective way to fix a game that won't play anymore? my gf unplugged the power and a/v cables on me while nfsu2 was running now it won't load anymore and the xbox doesn't recognize it as a game it just comes up with the msg that it doesn't recognize this dvd.

hmm, have you ever seen that little cd fixer at Best Buy before? My friends always used it on their scratched up cd's and it always fixed them up nice.

Is the disc surface scratched or does it look fine still?

Follow the instructions below:

1. Dump your girlfriend because doing that is very bad for the disc, then
2. Follow PimpDawg's suggestion and hope for the best, or
3. Smack your girlfriend and buy a new copy if the fix fails.

if you don't want to spend the money, take a damp cloth and place it on a flat surface. Spread toothpaste on it,now take a loop of tape and stick it to the label side of the disk. Face the label side up and rub the disk in the toothpaste on the damp cloth making figure eights. This will eventually buff out the imperfections.

Damn Achilles, your right, dump that girl dude! If mine ever did that when I was playing she'd be out the window, hahaha, I'm joking!

just remember that you can only take away so much material off the disk before it gets destroyed. Don't buff it out too much or you'll have a coaster.

This method works well on jewels to make it clear as glass.
