XBMC build-in FTP server not work !!! but Evo X ftp work - why ?

i can using the FTP form Evo X , that using dhcp setting
BUT i can not using the XBMC build in FTP , web server
XBMC report that there is no network connection ,
i tried to chang the xbmc setiing form dhcp to staict ip address
but it's still not work for me , !!!
i'm sure the network is 100% ok ! i use the ftp form Evo X to install the (copy) the XBMC form my pc to the Xbox HD ,
i using Evo X to start the XBMC ,
can anyone tell me what wrong here ? ,
is't the xbmc file not ok ? , i download it's form edk2000 ,
is' there any other download like ? , i mean the binary archive , not source code , i don't have the compiler or SDK
