Hi, i'm Gunout. this is my first post on this forum

i am gonna mod my GC later this week (dol-001)
and buy the full sized dvd case with it.

i was looking at the original gamecube case, and when there is a original gc (mini) dvd inside of it. i can see the laser can exceed about 7.5 mm from the original disk size.
does this mean. when i use the full size dvd case. the gamecube would be able to read 7.5 mm more on a full sized than from a mini sized dvd. or doesn't the laser move any further than the original gc (mini) dvds

if so, what is the maximum size i can use for a full sized dvd in gc.
and if not so, what is the normal size of a mini dvd-r
