Browsing game files on ps2 hard drive

Hey, I was wondering if there was a way to browse files on a ps2 hard drive. I want to be able to look at them as you would as if the game was installed on a pc hard drive.

Will I be able to do this if I hook it up to my pc? Or would I need anything special to browse the drive? Thanks~

im not sure if you could see the files because Ive never tried it

but to get your pc to recognise the ps2 HDD you need WinHip i believe, but im not too sure if it will work, so dont try it now read up first before just incase i fry your HDD and wipe everything!!

AFAIK there's no way to directly browse these files on your PS2 hard drive like that of PC hard drive. However you can use WinHiip to extract the files on a PS2 hard drive to your PC hard drive (it'll be in ISO format). Use Daemon Tools or whatever to browse these iso file as virtual CD/DVD and change them using Apache if you want.
