I have a ps2 with a DMS4 lite in it. I checked DMS's site and it said it makes it region free but im still getting the error "TV System Doesn't Match" whenever i try to play my region 2 dvd.

Is it because it's PAL? or is something wrong with my chip?

no its the dvd you cant play pals unless you patch the image to NTSC hope this helps.

i see, so i cuold play foreign dvd's (other regions) but theymust be in NTSC format?


ok thanks. its not that i dont want to patch it, but i bought the original dvd so i want to use it instead of a copied cd.

i have the same problem i imported shaun of the dead from england and only 2 of my dvd players playit.
