Hi!!! I already have an Xbox that is chipped and it a v1.4.

I also have an Xbox that is v1.0 and I want to softmod it but I know a little about softmodding and ive tried it and i think i messed up my xbox v1.0. This is what I did. I moved the chip from my xbox v1.4 and put it in my v1.0 to unlock the hdd. Then I removed the chip and put it back on my xbox v1.4. Then i got my xbox v1.0 hdd and connected it to my xbox v1.4 and there i did the softmodding by loadin files from my pc to the hdd. Then i took off the hdd and put it back on my xbox 1.0 but it didnt work. Then I moved the xbox v1.0 hdd back to the v1.4 and locked it. Then i tried again but it didnt work. So again i moved my xbox v1.0 hdd to my v1.4 and loaded all the normal files and deleted the softmod files and made sure it was lock but it still didnt work. What could the problem be? Is it my eeprom and bios? because i kinda backed the eeprom and the bios up after the softmod. Also i didnt reload my bios or eeprom backup is this the problem?
