weird burning problem :S

heyyy,

first of all id like to thank afterdawn for making this HUGE amazing forum that basicly has fixed all my ps2 problem whitout the need to post any new questions. There is only one problem that i couldnt in my ps2.

when i try to burn an imported DVD game using alcohol 120% it burns fine but when i try to play it in the ps2 it gives me the "insert PLAYSTATION or PLAYSTATION2 format disk" with pink in the background. Im 100% sure its not from my ps2 because it has a modchip and it has played many backup games i borrowed from an old friend.

i have also tryed to burn the game using DVD decrypter on the slowest speed possible but still i get the same problem :S:S:S:S.

what media are you using?
Use this list as a guide.
Especially for NEWER or IMPORT games.
These are the best MEDIA to use for ps2 games.
Movies dont really matter but GAMES does.

The following list is in preference order.

MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals = (-R)<-----------------VERBATIM MY CHOICE #1
TDKG02 = TDK Corp = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden = (-R)<--------------FUJIFILM (made in japan) MY CHOICE #2

Some modchips dont support import backups. I have a duo2se at the moment in mine, i threw my other ps2 at a wall when i couldnt play imports heh.. you have to look at the chip specs to see if it loads backup imports
