hey iv been using programs like vso divx to dvd and dvd santa to convert my avi files to dvd format but the they've been erratic, i just got nero burning rom and was wondering if i can use any of the programs in that suit and if so how do i use it?
Hello, I can burn AVI to dvd+r using Nero, but it will not recognize the disc as a movie when I go to play it in my ps2. It will play on the computer though. any help here would be appreciated, thanks
yes, they are memorex dvd+r's and I've gotten another backup movie to play on the ps2, but it was burned by dvd copy 3. This however takes 3-4 hours for some reason and slows down my computer greatly. I have swap magic discs which I use for Ps2 games, but they have no effect for movies.
Hey sammy004, try using Nero vision express, add your AVI video files and burn it to dvd. It will transcode the files so your dvd player should be able to play it. takes over 2 hours, but it worked for me.
