gday folks. I am using and have used shrink for well over a year with no issues. all of a sudden now, when i use it, the encoding and back up are all fine however, the process finishes and states that it is complete and the disk is blank and nothing has burnt. What may be the reason for this?

Can you physically tell if the laser actually burned something on the disc at all? Did it only happen once?

no there is nothing burnt at all. and it has now happened over 10 times.

Update the firmware of your new sony dvd writer, go to this page:
