First off, I'm not one to post, unless I'm really stuck. Actually this is my first. I have been able to set up MC exploit, transfer files, and run the SNES emulator on my PS2 just by reading many, many threads. I have a unmodded v4 PS2 with a Maxtor 200GB hdd, and flip top.

My problem, I can transfer a game iso from my computer to the PS2 over the network using Fablink. I can see the game on the PS2 under HDD Format, and I can see the game on my CPU using FLASHFXP; however, when i boot HDLoader from MC, or even HDAdvance retail disk, it doesn't know the games are there. I see there is a gamelist.log file on the hdd. Looking at the log in notepad (eventhuogh it's somewhat crypted)only shows games that have been converted straight from the PS2. Do I need to edit this file somehow to include the games FTP'd from my CPU?

Also, I am still in the dinasour age, using Windows ME, so I can't use Winhiip and I have been unlucky with HDL Dumb/Dump or whatever it is. I know the games are there because I can mount the partiton in FLASHFXP and see that, but how do I get HDLoader/Advance to see it also. My PS2 will be grateful for any help you may give to save it's life, because right it's dangling out the window by it's bootstraps!!

Where are all the gurus? When the game is transfered it looks like it creates the right partition. PP.HDL.game title, just like the ones loaded straight from the PS2. So why doesn't HDLoader/Advance find the game? Any help guys?

OK, I figured it out. Winblow's ME must not be compatible with FabLink. I used the wife's laptop which has XP, and HDLoader saw it with no problem. Oh by the way don't tell the wife, she hates it when I use her laptop. Later!
