I have looked at other posts with simular problems, but most don't really fit my situation so I'm gunna start a new thread.
After fixing my HDD problem in this thread ( http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=397580 ) I now have a new problem. I was watching videos with XBMC one night and shut off my box using the dashboard's shutdown option as usual. I woke up the next morning and unplugged it and moved it to a different TV. When I turned it on, there was no video... only audio. At first I thougt my tv was bad, so I went back and plugged it into the tv I usually use. No video still, so I bought a set of AV cables... nothing. I switched out my HDD to my original XBOX HDD, still nothing. I've tried dismantling the box and checking every single resistor and circuit on the board, nothing is burnt. Then I tried the enigmah switch utiliity mentioned in various other posts, and now it doesnt have audio or video. I can't get the enigmah switch situation to revert so now not only do i have the first problem, I have a new one that prevents me from knowing if I fixed the original one. In short I feel very screwed and need some input.
Here's a rundown.
Problem #1
No video signal Tried the following:
New A/V Cable
Using different TVs
Enigmah Switch Utility
Checked the Motherboard
Switched out Hard Drives
Switched video modes blind in the dashboard settings
Tried A backup restore
Problem #2
No video OR audio Tried the following:
Tried pressing B as well as A and restarting several times
Looked for an eeprom backup to restore but couldn't find one
Tried changing the dashboard settings blind
hm... don't think I left anything out, I tried to be thorough. Basically there is no reason for this to have happened. The box is less than a week old. I've never dropped or moved it while it was on. I've never touched video settings. Basically, I just turned it off and on. So yeah...
Thanks.
