This is my second AV 480(my last was stolen) both have had the same problem. If used to download DVD's for several hours connected to the mains electric the unit gets very hot and all the controls stop working. After several more hours of being un-connected the unit cools down and starts working again. I am concerned about leaving it connected unattended because of fire risk.

Has anyone else had the same problem?
