hi people,

i am recording programs onto my pc, which is all good, but when i watch them back there are quite deep black bars either side of the video, i dont know what the correct ratio term is but i just want to know if i can change it so that it all fits on the screen? is there any software out there that can change the ratio of a normal mpeg or avi file?
any help would be great!

You can re-encode the files to any aspect you want, but I have a feeling you don't have your capture settings correct.
