My husband and I are trying to burn VHS to DVDs so when he gets shipped off he can watch DVDs on the computer. The problem is the DVDs only work on the machine we use to convert them. It does not work on any other DVD player. I'm not to familiar and don't know what to do to fix it. Please advise. We bought a recorder that uses -r+r-RW and the DVDs are -R?

maybe sum form of macrovision or CSS?

try running them through a decrypter
