problems after installing fliptop on slim PStwo

i recently installed a fliptop replacement lid for my slim pstwo, now when it boots it doesn't read any games, or my magic swap discs. it just shows the browser and even when a game is in the ps2 it says no data. has anybody else had similar problems, or know of any fixes for this?

I think some people had to either tighten or loosen their fliptop from the base to fix this problem.
If i recall, in the past some had put something that weights a lb or 2 on top of the lid area to fix it (like a hardcover book or something), not the best fix, but it seemed to work for them if i remember correctly.

yeah, sounds like one of the "open" sensors that tell the system that the lid has been opened is not being correctly pushed down. not excatly sure where they are all (i think i read somewhere that there are three) but i know one i had problems with when switching to a clear case was the one directly ontop on the power button.

anubis127, I had a similar problem after I installed my flip lid on my pstwo. I removed it and reinstalled paying closer attention the second time and it's worked like a charm for a few months now.
