Audio Background too loud !!

Hi...I've just reinstalled xvid and divx codecs on my computer and it seems that the background audio is too loud and im not able to understand a word from the movie. I find it weird because on my desktop, the sound is perfect...

Can anyone Help or give me an explanation why?

i dont get ya - you got 2 computers?

hmm - uninstall the codecs then see, if it dont play - goto www.free-codecs.com and get sum packs - not K-Lite pack tho
