Viper CG (GCOS 1.4) Not loading games

Hello:

I recently installed a Viper chip. I was able to successfully flash the bios on the chip with the GCOS 1.4.

I get the please wait screen, and then I can see all the options for loading games and such.

I can boot my orginal games without a problem but any of my blanks which I have burned (Ridata Mini-disks R04) Seem to hang just after the Select X for PAL Y for NTSC and A to autosense screen, the Drive never spins back up.

I have used NERO to burn my DVD's.

I also checked the Ohms on my Drive and it is currntly running at about 198.5 which according to the Tweak FAQ is a respectable number.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I now updated to Cobra 1.2 and still get the same thing. I can explore the disk, and see the files, but when I go to boot I just sit there. I am buring with Nero 6.6.0.13, but have only made costers so far. I can confirm that the chip is working, the lid bypass is functional, and that the Drive can read my images, but I cannot get them to load. I am using Ridata (Ritek) Mini Disks, so I don't think th media is the problem

ripping an original diks makes all go well.
ripping a copy (of most sorts) will (-) never work with what is gcos 1.4.

you may not have asked. this is info.
