i have a ps2 modified
its plays both pal and ntsc games
but my television is pal
so all the gaames com in black and white
since most of the copied games i buy are in ntsc so its a big prblem
is the any s/w which i can download
i live in india its diffucult to buy any thing online
plz plz plz hlp

yesterday while surfing i found a s/w named ps2loader
it loads my ps2 gamaes in PAL for me
welll most of the games not all
but still i have no option to play dvds in pal

Some RF Modulators have built in Multi signal processing to transfer NTSC -> PAL and vise versa another thing you can do is just patch all your backup games with a ntsc2pal converter etc..

ads1 HI, what type of modchip is it? Most modchips come with a built in selector that U can force PAL on all games.(on the DMS4 , it is 2 hold down the square botton on the controller when U boot. Have a read on the paperwork that came with yr modchip.Otherwise a really easy way of playing yr NTSC games on a PAL_D only T.V. is 2 buy SwapMagic disc. Even though yr PS2 is chipped it will still load & will then give U 2 options the 1st is 2 load yr game, U want 2 go 2 the next option, this is video option, U simply choose PAL then go back 2 the first option & load yr game . Works fine.

ive been telling people that lately but it hasnt been working
you have to press square for a special boot
this is how to do it
Boot a copy of Swap Magic After it loads, eject it. Insert the PAL game. Let it read the new TOC. Select NTSC on screen, then press the SQUARE BUTTON for special boot
when people havent been pressing sqaure it hasnt been working

This works fine 4 me SwapMagic 3.3 with V7, V9, V12 ( wait 4 the load disc screen, press down,select video,select PAL,go back up 2 load disc & press X not square & mine work fine)

This is assuming U have slide tool or something else (fliptop) 2 be able to swap the discs (ie swapMagic for yr game disc)

Best thing to do is use a dms4 modchip..maybe the crystal chip also..has more option then any chips for that sort of thingy..

HOLYMEN if u want 2 convert PAL 2 NTSC or vise versa. Try typing it as a search at the top of afterdawn page. Im sure ull find what ur looking 4.
