I have an avi file that I'm trying to burn to DVD which is 690mb, but when I add it to my project in Nero, it becomes 6 gigs. I tried converting the file to mpeg with cucusoft to see if this would make a difference but no luck. Is there anyway to fit this file onto a regular dvd disk?

You will need to convert your AVI file using free program DivXtoDVD, and then use DVDShrink to compress it to fit your disk, here is guide for the process
