hi,

i have converted an avi file to dvd using nero, when i try to play it with a dvd player i have no sound.

i have used gspot to check i have the right codec installed and it tells me i have 3 compatable codecs -

--> {LAME MP3 Codec v0.9.0 - 3.96 (stable)}
--> {Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (professional)}
--> {MPEG Layer-3 Decoder}

i am no expert on codecs, i just know i need them to convert to dvd, and i have no idea how nero or similar program selects which codec to use.

the file i am trying to convert is, well how can i say, the one that must be doing the most business on the net since thursday which is part of a 2 part trilogy.

i think i got the torrent from mininova and part of the file name is re-encode by t-boy.

anyone offer any suggestions ??

First, check to see if you have sound with the original avis. If so, then you're probably missing some codecs. Download K-lite codec Pack (full version) and try again:
