Hey guys i was just wondering if someoen could help me with this problem i was having with snes-station. i can get it to load and everything but for some reason none of my roms show up. i got this thing that has 500 roms in it... anyway, do the roms have to be in some special format to show up or something? and if so how do i do that?

thanks

Yes they all have to be .SMC format, I think its been updated to reconize Zip files too, not sure though. If you you need to rename them Find a bulk file rename software, b/c I had to do the same and its very aggrivating.

Metalgott, have you been trying to boot it in PS1? No wonder that it won't work since it's made for PS2.

no, i did it on my ps2 but it made the sound like if i was playing a ps1 game on it
anyway it worked after trying a couple of times, but PAL games dont work on it even if i select "pal" in options...tho i can play pal/ntsc PS2 games since my ps2 has the mod chip

OK, I have SNES Station on my HDD, which I put on using a program (forgot the name now, I am not at home) that copies it from my computer. I have been able to boot up SNES station, but it won't recognize the roms. I've read that you have to put the roms on a cd to play them, so I tried to. SNES station still won't recognize any roms. what am I missing?

Thanks in advance

Metalgott, do you have NTSC system and have you been using AUTO mode from SNES station? That mode will change the output signal depending from game you're playing and PAL/NTSC modes will convert all games to match your choice, so if games won't work with AUTO or PAL, set it to NTSC.

Vhammer, when using SNES station there shouldn't be over 30 files or subdirectories in the CD's root directory. I think that limit will affect pure ROM CD's or DVD's too, so if you had all your roms in root and their total sum exceeded 30 it might be reason for your problems. Burn another disk where ROMs are in few subdirectories. Current version of SNES station doesn't support ROM loading from HD so using them from CD/DVD is only way.
