I've heard that's a really good one, if not the best. What I would like to do is blurr out or black out small portions of the screen. Particularly with nudity in a movie. I'd like to be able to blurr out the nudity without having to remove the entire scene. Will Adobe Premeire do that?

the best editing program for me, if your talkin about movies, like two part movies. i would say mpeg2vcr, very easy.... hope i helped..

It depends of the job at hands... first you have to answer some questions: long format or shor format editing? Level of compression quality needed? Amount of graphic works to do?, etc.

There are many systems and software at differents prices... check www.editinglinks.com under nonlinear editing systems and you can find links to many of them.

Sony Vegas really doesn't compare. Editors like Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid DV Xpress, and Final Cut Pro (if you're an unfortunate idiot who uses a mac) are full-fledged professional editors with loads and loads of features that basic ones like vegas and pinnacle just don't compare. For the money its well worth it. I've seen Premiere, Audition (audio editor), and Encore (DVD authoring) plus tutorials bundled together for around $500 online, which is an exceptional deal.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
