I was wondering, has anyone heard anything good/bad about this new HD Connect tool that is coming out tomorrow for the Slimline ps2? Unfortunately it says that for right now its only compatible with systems that have the DMS4 Modchop w/ Toxis OC.

My main question is that if anyone knows whether online games will work with it, and if it is the solution for us slim liners that want to play Final Fantasy XI.

I don't know whether this will work with FFXI but I can tell you that there's a new HDL elf that works with it. So you don't have to use Toxic/DMS exclusively anymore. :)

I hear complaints that you cannot load games directly from the PS2 to the HD. Is this a problem with the Toxic OS?
