After reading over the posts here, I thought I would throw in my two bits here. Here is a simple way to copy a dvd-9 to dvd-9 using dvd decrypter.
1. Rip dvd using iso read.
2. Click iso write. Change burn speed to 2.4, select the mds file, and make sure you set the book type to dvd-rom.
3. click write and wait a little while and then presto, you have a copy of your dvd.

You have to have a double layer burner to do this.

This is pretty much the same thing, only guide is DVD5 to DVD5, but your doing the same just DVD9 to DVD 9
