Ok I was wondering if I can boot a unlocked HD with a soft mod. I have a 1.6 xbox with a broken LPC trace point still boots fine but cant install a modchip. I have another xbox modded with a chip that I can put the HD from the broken xbox (its unlocked with evox on) and FTP to it. I know the softmod game exploits (MA, 007, SC) just allow you the FTP access to the HD, my question is has i already have the FTP access what files do I need to put on the HD to finish the softmod and do I have to relock the HD b4 I boot up, as I cant do that cos it will lock with the wrong HD key.
