It works sometimes but most of the time it doesn't work. Every 1/12 times it works. I use DVD shrink and burn my DVDs at x8. Any reason why is doesn't work all the time???
I guess my PS2 v9 likes the 8X of burning speed. It plays like a charm without no freezing. I've not backed up any at 2X yet, however, I did tried it with 4X and it still plays flawlessly.
Note: just remember to set your booktype into DVD-ROM, use quality media such as Fuji, Maxell, TY, Verbatim, Sony, TDK and you should be a happy camper.
