have tried any DVD-R... because some have reported that if your PS2 can`t read DVD+R to go with DVD-R

let us know

Fifa street needs a 'patch' for swap magic.
You can get it at www.ps2nfo.com
or http://www.alucard.cc/
You have to register.

Use dvd decrypter to make an .iso of the game.
(much better than nero expecially when having to patch.)
You can then patch the game and use dvd decrypter to burn.

I had many problems with memorex(about 12 coasters) worked fine with movies bad for games. I also ditched Nero and started using DVD Decryptor. go to supermediastore.com they had Taiyo Yuden 100 4x on sale for like 28 bucks. Make sure you burn at slowest speed posible 1X or 2X. Also, try a different game that doesn't require a patch.

Stay away from memorex.
I use Verbatim every chance I get over 300 Burns in total,
The only 'coasters' were my fault.

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

The following list is in preference order.

MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals = (-R)<-----------------VERBATIM MY CHOICE #1
TDKG02 = TDK Corp = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden = (-R)<--------------FUJIFILM (made in japan) MY CHOICE #2

Click the above link And see where Memorex falls,
They are bottom of the barrel Dvd media,
They only last about 2 years also,
So sooner or later you will have problems.
