How do I convert an VOB file into clips?

I want to split up a dvd VOB file into clips to use in a presentation, I have 4 VOB files, can it be done? if so what software and the best way to do it, would appreciate a quick reply urgently needed.

hi

use this then save to sparate folders! then when you have say 10 folders with a clip in each add the lot in order of preference back to a fresh loaded DVD Shrink and burn to dvd! set shrink after hitting backup button to burn with DVD Decrypter burn engine!

both apps free! njoy!

Thanks for the reply, I may seem a bit thick, but how do you save the clips to new folders, when I copy and paste nothing seems to happen;

How do you determine the length of file;

Is the clip made in the left hand dvd structure segment.

What is the video display at the bottom left corner.

I have followed your steps up to a point using the progs you mentioned.

Try a program called XILISOFT Video Converter as advertised on this site, its fab, will convert to any format.
