Why is it that when some one has a difficulty copying a dvd they automatically claim a "new protection scheme" when the problem obviously lies elsewhere? Such as un-updated programs, damaged discs, bad pressings, conflicts and last but not least, operator error.

Good copy, no problems: AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.

Therefore: DVD Decrypter and burner of choice should also work fine.

I did this with AnyDVD and DVD Shrink with no problem, if people would use the search function they would find a answer, this is in a whole bunch of threads already, the new version of AnyDVD that people are talking about is a beta version that still has bugs in it, thats why its not on slysoft website

Aviator - just fine and dandy with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink alone.

I did have to wash the disk - although it looked clean (brand new from packaging) it had an oily substance on it that created a crc on my first attempt.

Splish splash - gave it a bath and full speed ripping ahead!

lisa32, You can use a disk cleaning solution, alcohol, or just some mild soap and water to clean the disk. Then use a soft cloth to dry. If you have bad scratches use some toothpaste with water and rub on the disk, rinse and polish.
