I've got the EZI lite and it works perfect. It boots DVD backups and CD backups, it will also boot NTSC or PAL games. You can set the chip (using Toxic BIOS or Toxic OS) to force your display mode so that you can play both types on any PS2/TV.

The chip took me about an hour to install. The clips don't go on as easily as DMS would have you believe but if you keep working with it you'll get them. Be careful NOT TO BEND ANY PINS on the clips or the DSP and BIOS. Just use slow, even pressure and you'll get it.

Also, be careful when unpluging the case fan, and when plugging it back in. They are very delicate and will break easily. Then you'd have to fix that issue too (like me.)

Just so you know, the only difference between the Pro and Lite is that the Pro has a bigger memory size so you can load the Toxic OS or homebrew applications. The installation is exactly the same for both chips.
