I have a :-Pioneer Dvd Drive
-2GB of DDRAM
-AMD Athlon 64
-CloneDvd 2
I have been copying my own non-copyrighted Dvd's to Dvd-R's for awhile now and I would like to get a second Dvd Drive so I may be able to burn on the fly accomplishing two successful burns cutting production time in half. I would buy a second drive, but am not sure how to go about making it work this way, and don't want to waste the money if it doesn't work out. Can I hook it up and make it work with Clone Dvd 2?? I have no one else to ask, please help. Jasonb1

Yes you can copy on the fly. I have 2 drives. One is a DVD-ROM and the other is a Sony DVD -/+R/RW DL burner.

However, it is said that copying 'on the fly' gives you a high possibility of errors. It is always recommended that let the software your using copy to your HD first then burn to your blank DVD disc.

I reccomend using DVD Decrypter and ripping to hd and then using your prog of choice to write with.

my recommendation is to let Clone do its thing with the compression on its own. I use Nero, which gives you the option to use multiple burners, and it does work quite well. You can also just do a disc copy using multiple burners on a DVD5 that's not encrypted (ie copying from a burn).
