Does the old 3.1(not the 3.1+)play dvd format games? Tried everything even verbatim, maxell, memorex, & imation. Used + & - dvds, several different burners. My backups still don't play..could it be that my mod won't do dvds?

it's not the mod. that is if it's been installed correctly

it was installed by modchipworld,they said it was tested b4 it left..
