how weird is this i backed up gta on a shitty dadtawrite dvd-r andit works 100% burnt at 2x with dvd decrypter, i just got my verbatim discs today and i wanted to copy it again so that it was on a good dvd-r after copying i wacked it in my ps2 and cant belive its skipping and taken ages to load i mean ages this is a joke especially using verbatims there much better than the datawrites i originally burnt on any 1 know wots goin on

The reason it doesnt read is that for some reason verbatim doesnt play just a SMALL number of backups i went through like 20 verbatim dvds b4 i figured that out... anyway id suggest tdks for san an killzone and there was another game but i dont remember that. oh well anyway try tdk i know it works!

Yeah, TDK discs work great, have used the DVD-R 4X discs for both games and movies.
Most of my games are on Philips 8X DVD-R which work every time for every game.
