winamp wont play my avi/xvid/divx

For some reason winamp wont play my movies i got all the newest codecs and so on and have no problem playing them in other player, but winamp just wont do it. winamp just shows its like xxx min or hours but when u press play nothing happens, strange. would be nice if ne1 could help :=)
