i got slayers downloaded, and it says the file type is "exe". I don't know what thet means so do i just burn that to a cd-rw/dvd-rw or is that the bit-torrent form of slayers?

An exe file is an executable file. You need slayers as an iso and then you need to burn it to a disc using Nero or sonic or whatever iso burning software you have. Sonic comes with most new computers. Burn to a dvd-r or dvd+/-rw xbox drives are finicky.

Craxtion and quix both turn files into iso images. I am not familiar with slayers being an exe file in particular but you could try. I think sonic may create isos and I know Nero does. I'm not sure about dvd+ discs as I have never used one but Iv'e never heard of anyone using them either.

ide watch that exe file. you should download slayer in iso format. go to the slayer web site they have a piece of software the will identify if the file you downloaded is the real deal or not. then use Nero or what ever you chose to burn the iso to the media that you xbox likes best. i have no problems using dvd-rw or cd-rw. the slayer website is someware in the xbox-scene.com website i think. hope this helps

The slayer exe file is actually what you get when you download it from a bit torrent. The exe part is what you have to do to get to the slayers site and get a code to unlock it. Then you insert the code, it unlocks, and you are ready to burn an iso.

to be techincally speaking, xboxes dont use .exe files, they use .xbe excutable files and can only bewritten a certian way that is why you need craxtion or xiso to make xbox disks. also, if you try to unpack a xbox rar file, WinRAR will say it is corrupt even though it is not.
