When I try to play a dvd all I get is the audio. No picture. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

Install a DVD decoder...Like PowerDVD or WinDVD are good decoders that work with Windows Media Player but you shouldn"t use Media Player to Play DVD"s because Media Player displays Video useing it"s resolution and Not it"s aspect ratio so the Video will never Look Quite right with media Player.....
