I own both Halo's first of all. My copy of Halo 1 is severly scratched and wont be read by the xbox anymore. When I try to make a backup or direct copy of the disk, my pc reads it fine. Now heres the big one. If you use a DVD9 disk, (dual layer), will the x-box read it? Just wondering if anyone has tried that DVD format yet?
And according to the FCC, I am allowed one backup copy of any media I own and still have in my possesion. So this thread is legal and not piracy, just to clarify.

Xbox game disc's will not read in your dvd drive in your pc! You need to connect into your xbox with a FTP program (FlashFXP for example). You need to have ur box modded to do this. For more information on how to back up games read the first post in this forum.
