I recently installed a chip into my PS2 slim... though eveything went fine till i tried a disc.. unable to read. so i tried a few more things, then the motor was making funny nosies. eventually i took the chip out to see if the machine still works.. nope something went wrong. it'll start up but when i pop a disc in it doesn't read it.."Can not read disk" i have checked the solder, and nothing outta place.. i may have burnt the board i have no clue, but if i did burn it, it's not near the chip where the laser is connected to.. any help PLEASE

btw the laser is still working when i turn it on
