I just saw this ad at Best Buy for this week and was wondering if these discs were any good. They're Fuji 8x DVD-R. Here's a link to the ad. I heard somewhere that these Fujis carry the Taiyo Yuden label on them. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
If they say made in Japan the manufactuer code will be TYG02..if the back of the dvd package says made in taiwan the code will be Prodisc...i've used some of the prodisc but Nero wasnt able to read those discs for my back up copies.
haza the DVD dash R at best buy are NOT TY they will ID out as prodisc (which suck) iam sure they are because ive gotta them several times and your right Nero hates them i cant make copies of copies there FULL of read errors. supermediastore.com has TY on sale till the 6th 200 for 59.95 much better deal and much better media sp check that out.
those cheapie 4x TY's are arguably better media, I guess it depends on what kind of burner you have. The only way you can tell if those Fuji's are TY's is if they say MADE IN JAPAN on them, in the fine print.
I had thought that Fuji wasn't realing with TY anymore, but there's hopefully more old stock still in some warehouse.
BTW,aren't there rules for obnoxiously large pics in(stead of)
signatures here?
