I want to rip the voice from a DVD, and not the background music, I understand in some instances there will be a background sound with the voice but I just want the voice and not the movies soundtrack.

If theres any tips on how to do this please do tell, any help will be appreciated.

Also what is an excllent DVD to AVI converter that gives true DVD Quality?

I would also like to know how to do this. I am going to experiment with some programs I have at home this weekend but if you figure it out before I do I would like to hear how. Thanks

Sorry to say none of my programs would open the AC3 file, so I could have different sound files for the background and the voice. I will still keep searching and will give you an update if I find out how to do this.

I found a way.

First use DVD Decrypter and Demux the 6 channel AC3 track which you can extract the central voice channel from, with a program called "Besweet".

I hope this helps because it has cirteanly helped me.
