hi

ok see it puts 2 files on hd ISO AND MDS, whats the MDS file for see u only take ISO file to disc can u take the MDS to another dvdr disc and will it work in dvdplayer

The MDS file is the information file. It tells the computer or player what order to play the movie in.

the mds file is instructions for burning (especially dual layer)
burn 1 or the other it doesnt matter, on the disc you will end up with the correct files. Remember an iso is an image of files, much like a zip file, if you search a disc you burnt an iso to it will not be there, only the files contained within that image
