can anyone tell me what program i need to use to get my **whatever** videos and put it onto a DVD?

What is the format your D/L'd File came in. Is it ,AVI ? If it is then you can convert the .AVI to DVD-Compliant mpeg-2 files by using VsodivxtoDVD. then use Shrink to compress and burn the file using DVDDecrypter. All of the programs are free.
If it is not .AVI then you can use the search feature at the top and put " convert ( what ever file format it is) to DVD"

the formats are especially MPEG, AVI, wma?
i have Nero but i just use that to copy dvds. i have no idea how to use it for anything else.....if u know how please tell me the steps ...i have DVD Shrink 3.2 and Nero 6 ultra edition

open Nero Smartstart, and under Photo and Video, select Make your own DVD video...it's basically a series of easy clicks from there.

Do what I said and D/L DVD Shrink and DVDDecrypter ( both free).
After the files are encoded then use Shrink to compress the files and DVDDecrypter or Nero (if you have it) to burn the compilation to DVD

korso55, Nero will let you do DVD's; you just go to the top box in the Smartstart window and use the arrow to change it from CD to DVD or CD/DVD. simple.

ok thanks ...i finally got it to work
thanks alot
i have been trying to download microsoft office from limewire pro, but when i open the zip file it never fully installs. what could the problem be and what does CRACKED mean? if you know a place where i could get microsoft office for windows XP (dell) or at least microsoft word for free let me know how

asking for pirated materials is against the rules, korso, and if you don't edit your post you'll probably get banned. i can't help you here. i can't tell you to check irc for a good version, and i can't tell you to search online for a serial number to that regular version in order to use it; just the same, i can't tell you that your best bet is probably to find a friend with a cd and key and let you install it. nope, can't help you at all, there. you might search through the P2P forums, though.
as for cracked, it's a reference to serial numbers and the like. a cracked version should just install and be usable or include the proper programs to do so, in order to not have to buy the program. the downer is, most the time (i think), you can't register the proggy.

Auslander's right - no requesting pirated material. A free and very good alternative to MS Office is Open Office which I use and it's quite good,

if have Nero and i use nerovision express i use that when i burn AVI mpg and vma its like sonic mydvd but better

The easiest way to change any video file to dvd video file is to go download Nero vision express and use Nero recode 2 (nero will walk you through how to do it)

Is it easier to take AVI file and create DVD in Nero?
ALso if you can find TS_Video VOB file what would you do from there?

Hey Car.Mike, got a question for you. Are there any free software that will convert? All those are free trials i believe.. they work for a few days or with restrictions and then no dice. I want a nice free proggy to convert wma to mp3 format.

Ah u guys truly rock. And hey even if I gotta pay a few bucks for these proggys its worth it.....and click from this forum too....I know now how to convert AVI to DVD and back up DVD.........all in less than one day........tytytytytytyt :)
