MADE IN JAPAN ones media ID codes are in my sig.~ under TAIYO YUDEN~
it has been confirmed by ME~ LOL
i don't know about the made in taiwans, i have always searched for the MADE IN JAPANs ONLY~ :)

I've only used about 5 or 6 of these, 99.99% of the time I burn +Rs, but the 6 or so I burned were good. Quality scans with Nero were in the low 90s. I burned them at 8x.

yes, as movies pointed out, it is labelled RIGHT ABOVE the bar code~ :)
i've also noticed the fuji MADE IN JAPAN cakebox/packaging is slightly "fatter" at the bottom than the made in taiwan ones. that would be another indication as well to get the made in japans (this is true at least locally for me when i check my bestbuys)

im referring to the dvd+r format of the fujifilms~ they are the YUDEN000T02 codin i have in my sig.
the made in japan dvd-r are the TYGO2 in my sig. either or...they are both TYS~ :)
it's really YOUR preference...as long as you get MADE IN JAPAN you are fine~

Yup the DVD dash R fuji ARE prodisc ,and i havent had very good luck with them kivory66 .they seem to burn fine BUT after several months i cant make a copy of them i get read errors like crazy so i would def. steer clear of the ones that ID out as prodisc which are the DVD dash R

the ones you are referring to aabbccdd are more than likely the ones that are MADE IN TAIWAN, the ones i am talking about are strictly the MADE IN JAPAN ones~ both dash and plus format for the MIJ Fuji ARE TYs~ :)
guess your local area doesn't carry the MIJ fujis...that kinda sucks~ :P i can imagine the MIT fujis that you have had are the prodisc coding, but, im PRETTY SURE that they are made in taiwan.
that is the only way to somewhat tell what you will be getting before you get home and id the disc, either the MIJ=TY or MIT=prodisc

You are very correct kivory666 there made in TAIWAN . thats why i ONLY buy TY online from supermedia store or meritline .there less expenive anyway than going to best buy and YOU KNOW your getting TY from both dealers . And congrats on the senior member Doctor iam not far behind you.
