jimbo160 ,
What I would do it install a DVD Burner in the computer and your problem is solved. You can buy a 4X burner for approx $40.00 US. If you do not have room for a burner get rid of the CD burner and install it there in place of the CD Burner

jimbo160 ,
If you have the info on your computer at hand carry that w/ you as it will not hurt. Just try and find someone that understands what you are wanting to do w/ the burner. The reason I suggested the 4X is that the newer burner burn faster and do Dual Layer disk and all you want is to do a DVD-5 disk. I just did not want you to waste a lot of $$. Also those burners will probably be on sale as the companies are trying to get rid of their inventory. The better names to try and look for are Plextor, Pioneer, NEC, LIte-on and not in that order. See what you can find

Don't forget BenQ, which I personally prefer over pioneer and NEC. You might as well go with a 16x dl burner too since the prices on them have come way down, a lot of them under $50 US. Look here. http://www.newegg.com/index.asp?DEPA=0
