Can someone explain this to me. I have Avril Lavigne's CD which is CDS protected. I put a tape over outer rim of CD and it plays perfectly on PC. But when I try ripping it with EAC and Teac W540E EAC says there are no errors (copy and test CRC identical) while I notice a click on the 13th track at 9th second. I have tried different modes (burst, secure with and without C2 correction, paranoid) but the result is always the same. What I want to know is how is playing a CD different from ripping it, and maybe how I can overcome this.
