I've got multiple ~30-minute films which I want to place on a single DVD and play as a continuous movie.

I tried adding them individually, but then my DVD player pauses to search for the next movie, interrupting the flow. I've used Vegas 6 to combine them all back-to-back and save them as a single AVI file. This file plays correctly (without interruption) in both Windows Media Player and DVD Architect's (hencefoth DA) Explorer window. The eDA Explorer window shows the correct stream types and total film length.

When I use the Prepare feature, it does it's thing and finishes without error. However, when I play the DVD content from my hard drive in PowerDVD, it stops after the first movie and returns to the main menu. It behaves the exact same way when burned to DVD (I need to start testing direct off the hard drive, too many wasted DVD's :) ). On the my real DVD player, it won't even let me search past the length of the first movie.

So my question is, what am I doing wrong... and/or is there a better way to go about compiling these five .VOB's into a single movie while minimizing quality loss due to re-compression?
