i just wanted to know if the slimtool works with the new silver slimline because i am planning to buy one.

btw i know you need swap magic aswell.

where can you get a swap tool
i have heard of and can get a magic switch or slim tool but not swap tool.

the swap tool is the card used on the older style ps2's to swap discs...it's just a different name for the slimtool. i didn't think it worked on teh new ones..oh well, live and learn. i do my shopping at www.modchipstore.com but there's many others. just search for them.

i'm fine and dandy with my v.9 still :) the new ps2's just dont' turn me, being as basically they were a half-assed attempt to foil pirates and bridge the gap to the ps3. nice to see stuff coming out all the time to help whip sony, even if only a little.
